Low Farm Therapy Centre
Main information
Type of service: Interventions and therapies
Low Farm Therapy Centre is run by Lo and Lo Education Community Interest Company. It provides early intervention and therapy for children with communication, social, sensory, and motor difficulties, including autism spectrum conditions (ASCs), using developmental models. Early Intervention Groups are for 3-6 year olds with Social Communication Difficulties. Individual and family based therapy is also provided, including Speech and Language Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Early Start Denver Model (ESDM). We run therapy groups in the holidays for school aged children. We are able to offer assessment and Intervention for children who are reluctant to eat, using the Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) approach to feeding. We work in liaison with a wider multi-disciplinary team, and are able to offer diagnostic assessments for ASCs and Developmental Coordination Disorder (Dyspraxia) through this. There are holiday cottages onsite for families to stay in, which can be linked to assessment and intervention if desired. A glamping site is being developed. The service provides independent expert reports; makes home visits; visits a client's nursery school or college; and attends tribunals/educational appeal committees.
