Malvern Hills - Young People Support Group

We are running a support group for young people in the Malvern Hills area. The support group takes place one evening per month from 6pm to 8pm and there will also be occassional daytime fun activities such as bowling. The group offers a chance for individuals to discuss topics including:.
- health
- safety
- finance
- autism related topics
- general support
Attendees also take part in social skill development and team-building activities. These help to develop their confidence and independence within the community. All groups follow a set of rules which include respecting one another, keeping things confidential and not judging other people. There are 12 places in the group. The group is available to anyone who meets the following criteria:.
- aged between 16- 24 years
- has a diagnosis of Asperger syndrome or high functioning autism
- living in the Malvern Hills area
- wanting to meet others with autism to talk about the condition.
