Manor Green Primary School

Main information

Type of service: Day schools, Schools

Manor Green Primary School caters for primary children, aged 2 - 11 years who have learning difficulties and additional needs. The school is organised into Key Stage groups with a senior teacher coordinating each department. There are 12 classes each with a teacher and two or more special support assistants.

We are supported by speech and language therapists, physiotherapist and occupational therapist. The school has a school nurse and all pupils are seen regularly by the school doctor, the audiologist and orthoptist.

The pupils participate in many activities. Each pupil has an individual education plan. This may include many specialised activities, such as hydrotherapy and riding. The school also prides itself on its links with the wider community through visits and links with other schools. Activities and events are organised by our friends in the local and wider community.
