The Rainbow Classes are in separate buildings on the Manor Mead School site. Manor Mead is a school for children with severe learning difficulties. Pupils in the Rainbow Classes are taught in their separate buildings but they use Manor Mead School facilities such as the swimming pool, hall, soft play room and sensory rooms. They also join Manor Mead pupils at playtimes, lunchtimes and for some assemblies. Pupils are educated in groups with others with autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
