Manor School is a primary special school catering for pupils with moderate to severe learning difficulties (SLD). The majority of our pupils have a diagnosis of autism. Manor School is a school for primary pupils with SLD, including pupils with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Some of our pupils with ASD are educated in groups with other pupils with ASD. Others are educated in classes with pupils with moderate learning difficulties (MLD) or severe learning difficulties. The age group is 4-11 years. The pupils of Manor School then move on to either Woodfield High School (special) or to Hayelane School. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils especially parents and young adults. The school uses the Structure, Positive (approaches and expectations), Empathy, Low arousal, Links) SPELL framework.
