Marlborough School

Main information

Type of service: Day schools, Outreach - education, Schools

Marlborough School is for students with severe learning disabilities (SLD) and complex needs aged 11 to 19 years. Throughout the school we have students with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). We have a lot of experience with students who have ASD and work with Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS), symbol support, timetable strips and sentences. We work closely with our Local Education Authority (LEA) support and have done outreach work with mainstream schools within the borough of Bexley. We like to work closely with families and local support agencies. Volunteers to work with the pupils may be accepted.
