Matching Houses

Main information

Type of service: Holidays, Online services

Matching Houses is a simple idea to enable disabled people to travel confidently, knowing their destination is fully accessible. The idea is this: if my accessibility needs match yours, our homes will be accessible to each other. When you join, a series of simple questions lets you describe your home and its accessibility in detail. When you look for houses to swap with, only those matching your accessibility needs are shown to you. You contact a possible swap (or someone contacts you) through matchinghouses.com without revealing confidential details – your address for example – unless you want to, and until you are ready to do so. You can then arrange your holiday. We have many members in other countries, particularly English-speaking countries such as America and Australia.
