Matthew's Hub provides social activities, advice and support for Individuals age 16+ with high functioning autism and Asperger's Syndrome in Hull and East Riding. They work to build confidence and self-esteem, develop real skills to enable people to take up volunteering and work opportunities. Their aim is to help individuals with Asperger's Syndrome and high functioning autism access social activities within their local community to promote communication and social interactions skills. The social activities will help build friendships and help people feel less socially isolated.
Matthew's Hub is one of the services provided by FiND. FiND a local charity serving East Riding and Hull providing day services for young people aged 12 to 35 with severe learning disabilities including autistic spectrum disorders and complex needs. Referrals to the service come from individuals themselves, GP's, social or health service.
