Meabh Ivers provides arts-based therapy with humanistic elements and works with children and adults with autistic spectrum disorders (ASD), siblings of people with ASD and professionals working with people with ASD. She offers private therapy practice for children and young people. Drama and Movement Therapy is particularly beneficial for children on the ASD spectrum and their siblings.
Meabh has been practising drama and movement therapy from 2003. Since qualifying Meabh has worked therapeutically in a variety of settings including: schools, psychiatric hospitals, community, day care and residential settings. She has also worked with therapeutic communities and as a dramatherapist for Roundabout. Meabh is particularly interested in working with children, non verbal people and people with mental health problems. Help with obsessional behaviour, relaxation techniques, relationship difficulties and mental health issues are offered. Therapy is available through self-referral.
