Mentaur, a service provider for people with learning disabilities, mental disorders, autism spectrum disorders and complex needs was born in the 1980s. The organisation has embraced the cause of this diverse group of individuals in many ways. From providing residential and day care services to community awareness and most recently, to developing for the 21st century, an educational, training and research programme in this crucial area of need. .
Our day service includes activities organised from the Day Opportunities Resource Centres, activities in the local community co-ordinated from the service users house and lastly activities based in the service users' home. A day program can be based around one choice right up to a combination of all three choices and is driven by service user choice, capability and complexity of need. We have a range of residential units spread over the counties of Northamptonshire, Leicestershire and Bedfordshire.
