Type of service: Family support and information services

If no proper diagnosis is available then we can conduct an assessment based on standard diagnostic tools. Whilst under Covid-19 restrictions we have two optional methods; either by a questionnaire that you can fill in on a computer and e-mail back to us or an interview by Zoom video link.  The interview is informal with friendly conversations that gently cover all the points and are put together during assessment writing. One-off advice and support is also available either by e-mail or Zoom both of which are free. If more in-depth help is required we can do this via Zoom for which there will be a fee. We aim to find out what client and family identify as their goals and helping them to find ways they can achieve these. Some light counselling may be required. I have a special advantage in that I have been diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome (which explained a lot!) but have made a successful career for over 35 years. For me this is a service based on a personal understanding of the issues and difficulties faced.
