The Autism Helpline provides impartial and confidential information, advice and support for people with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD), their families and professionals. The Helpline: provides introductory packs and information sheets on specific subject areas, which are also available on the NAS website; signposts on to other organisations and provides details of local support available including counselling services; offers access to Language Line interpreters for callers whose first language is not English; and can be contacted by phone, minicom, email or letter. Calls are free from landlines and from most mobile phone operators.
