The Cool Club is a Youth Group for young people aged 11-18 years with a diagnosis of an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The club is run by The National Autistic Society Resource Centre in Croydon. The club runs in two groups, the first group from 10.00am-11.45am for 11-14 year olds and the second group from 12.15pm-2.00pm for 14-18 year olds. The Cool Club provides a mixture of structured and free play activities to encourage the young people to interact with each other. The members of the club can enjoy the facilities at Mansfield House which include a games room, teaching kitchen, computer suite with supervised internet access and a structured Drama, Art or Dance session taught by a specialist teacher.
