Crossways is a house for seven adults in the local community of Mildenhall which is run in conjunction with Suffolk Housing association. The house is open 24 hours a day, 52 weeks a year. The residential services of the Mildenhall Service are based in and around Mildenhall, a small market town in Suffolk in close proximity to the boundaries of Cambridgeshire, roughly equally placed between Bury St Edmunds, Newmarket and Cambridge. The service has full NAS Accreditation and revolves around the TEACCH (Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication Handicapped Children) model. All units are registered with Suffolk Standards department under the Registered Homes Act 1984.
