Middlefield Manor is a residential home comprised of 2 smaller 'homes' located within a larger home. It provides accommodation for 15 adults with autism spectrum disorders and secondary diagnosis of behavioural and learning disabilities. The service provides a complete package of residential, vocational, educational and leisure opportunities to support residents. It offers specialist, high quality and innovative support in an environment which meets the everyday needs of the individuals, including appropriate levels of supervision to ensure opportunities for personal development and safety whilst encouraging individuals to take control of their lives to the best of their ability. The people we support are offered learning skills as identified within individual service and programme plans. Activities include college, personal development activities, expressive movement and personal education. Offsite activities include cycling, community visits, shopping and horse riding. All staff progress through a core skills training programme with further training to enhance skills and knowledge.
