NAS Northamptonshire Saturday and School Holiday Clubs
Main information
Type of service: Play and leisure, Social groups
The National Autistic Society's Northamptonshire service, now offers Saturday and school holiday clubs for children and young people aged 10 - 17.
Our clubs are offered through support from Northamptonshire County Council and are located in the North of the county at The Diamonds Centre, Irthlingborough, and provide a great environment for fun and learning.
The clubs aim to give children and young people social opportunities away from their family and outside of school. We do our best to make the club fun and provide a supportive, safe and structured environment where the children and young people who attend can make friends and increase their confidence.
The Saturday club runs every Saturday and is for children aged 10 - 17.
The school holiday club runs for two days a week ( usually Tuesdays and Wednesdays) with sessions available between 09.00 - 16:00 during school holidays.
The clubs are run by members of staff from the NAS, with supported volunteers who are trained to a high level in regard to autism awareness. All staff and volunteers have had enhanced DBS or CRB checks.
