NAS Radlett Lodge Short Breaks

The National Autistic Society

Main information

Type of service: Respite and short breaks

Developed and run by specialist staff, Radlett Lodge offers a homely atmosphere with excellent facilities. This includes a fully equipped gymnasium, soft play room, library, art room and teaching kitchen. Outdoor activities are encouraged as three large playgrounds provide ample space to play football, ride bicycles or play on outdoor equipment in a safe and secure environment. .

There are two mini buses and the lodge is conveniently close to local amenities, parks, swimming pools, shops, cafes and cinemas where children can practice social interaction, social communication and social skills. We have highly motivated, dedicated staff who are experienced in managing behaviours associated with autism. We do this by reducing anxieties, developing communication skills and by formulating structured leisure activities that are stimulating and FUN!.
