The National Autistic Society (NAS) runs youth clubs for children aged 11-19 years with Asperger syndrome. The clubs are all held once a month. Newark is on a Thursday in the middle of the month; Mansfield is on a Monday at the beginning of the month; and, Nottingham is normally on a Tuesday at the end of the month. The groups are all held from 6pm-8pm. The cost of the sessions are £10 unless funding is available. Each monthly session is a themed session and we have activities such as: Takeaway Night, Craft Night, Wii Night, Baking, DVD Night and much more. We also have trips out including a geocache session, trips to Alton Towers, boat trips, meals out, laser quest, bowling as well as arranging a Summer Fair every year which helps towards fundraising for us and our Newark venue..
