Netherlea Short Break Service

Type of service: Respite and short breaks

Person-centred short breaks in an environment that promotes well being, safety and personal development opportunities. Netherlea is jointly funded by NHS Dumfries and Galloway and the local authority. Provides respite to adolescents with a learning disability and challenging behaviour and/or health care needs. There is an open referral system, however young people must have social work assessment prior to using service. Volunteers accepted.
