Nickirian Care is an independent provider of quality respite/short break service which offers individualised care/support for individuals aged 16-65 who have physical and/or learning disabilities, including autistic spectrum disorders (ASD). 'The Bungalow' is a large detached bungalow consisting of 4 bedrooms - all en suite; each room furnished and decorated neutrally to suit both male and female. We have maximum capacity for four clients only - this allows a very welcoming non-institutional homely environment where care and support is provided to suit each individuals needs. Television and DVD are available in each bedroom. Activities are a key part of daily life at 'The Bungalow'. A wide variety of activities (both indoor and outdoor) are offered and tailored to the individuals' needs and interests - this develops existing skills and can enhance life experience. Social work referral, or self-referral using Direct Payments or privately funded.
