Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy in Scotland

We are the largest employer of qualified music therapy practitioners in Scotland. The Charity's music therapy team works from four bases in West Lothian, Glasgow and Dundee. The work carried out is largely done on an outreach basis in schools, hospitals, hospices, residential health care settings and community/voluntary sector projects. A small number of private referrals are also undertaken in the workrooms at our bases. We work with individuals with a wide range of special needs, including autism spectrum disorders. We also provide a training and outreach programme. Referral from any source accepted, including self-referral. They also run occasional classes, such as the Glasgow drumming group for young people with additional support needs.
