North East Lincs Family Action Support Team (FAST)

FAST is a specialist service for families with children with attention and behavioural difficulties, including Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and other complex needs, aged 3-17 years. FAST is made up of Registered Nurses and Registered Health Visitors trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Systemic Family Therapy, as well as Family Support Workers. The services offered include programmes and seminars, social skills coaching, one-to-one work and behaviour management and advice. .

FAST Kids First is a parent/carer support group for families who have used the FAST service. The group meets weekly during term time, arrange a range of recreational activities, invite professionals to speak on a range of topics and fund raise to promote activities to increase family well-being. .

COG is a sibling support programme for children and young people ages 8 years and over who have a brother or sister with ADHD or ASC and other complex needs. This group usually meets during the school holidays and is aimed at families accessing the FAST service as in part of a whole family approach. .
