The Child Development Centre offers therapy and pre-school nursery care to local children with severe and special needs. The Centre is staffed by a group of multi-disciplinary professionals who work as a team, to development an individual programme for each child. The Team includes Physiotherapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Nursery, Education and the Consultant Paediatrician. Children's Services is provided across all three sites of the trust incorporating both hospital inpatient and outpatient services in addition to community services for neonates and children up to the age of eighteen, dependant on site.
