The Nottinghamshire Disabled People's Movement (NDPM) is actively working towards disabled people having the means to determine how they live their lives, and to participate fully in society. The NDPM campaigns on local and national issues to stop discrimination and to improve services for disabled people. The NDPM aim to assist disabled people gain access to services and facilities by providing information and support. The NDPM are involved in consultation with local organisations in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Disabled people over 18 can become full members - the Movement is run solely by volunteer Management Committee members. People without disabilities, but who are supportive of the Movement's aims, can also become associate members. Full membership is £12 or £6 for those who are unwaged or on a low income.
