Oban High School is a mainstream secondary school with a Support Department for pupils with additional support needs. Pupil support is provided through a variety of methods, such as co-operative teaching, consultation, direct tuition, individualised group tuition and Reading Club, including an autism-specific class. Use is made of the school’s Time Out Base facility and an Intensive Support option. Oban High School staff working in this area liaise closely with appropriate agencies to ensure a multi-agency approach to supporting our pupils.
