Pupils with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnosis are placed according to their needs, usually within their chronological age year group. However we do have a nurture group in school with a ratio of 4 children: 2 adults that provide for children with greater more complex needs. Of the 4 children in nurture 2 have a diagnosis of autism and one did have a diagnosis but has been updated to attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and anxiety. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils depending upon suitability. Pupils living outside the UK may be accepted may be accepted if asked by admissions department. Other interventions, approaches and programmes offered by the school are nurture group and socially speaking. Hearing impairment, visual impairment and physical disability are dependent on severity.
