Origin Housing

Main information

Type of service: Outreach, Supported living schemes

Our supported housing for people with learning disabilities allows them to live in independent flats or rooms while being supported by trained staff. The support varies by the scheme, depending on the type of disabilities and the level of assistance needed. Some schemes - such as our Speedwell Court scheme in Barnet - offer 24-hour support. Others, offer support only during the day. We have supported housing schemes in Barnet, Islington and Hertfordshire.

For people with learning disabilities who are well enough to live in their own homes, we offer floating support services. Floating support aims to assist the person over a period of time so that they are able to manage their needs themselves once the floating support ends. We have outreach / floating support services in Barnet, Hertfordshire and Westminster.
