Type of service: Local groups

We support parents of children and adults with autism and other additional needs by providing various services such as a support line, holding monthly support & information meetings (with guest speakers), sharing useful information via email and sign-posting to partner organisations and services. Access to regular sport and leisure activities for our children (and siblings) which include trampolining/swimming and indoor play, in addition to school holiday family events. We aim to develop long term strategies with local communities that will improve living, working and social opportunities for people with Autism and similar disorders. Being a parent of a child with a disability can be very isolating and we at PACT for Autism pride ourselves on the friendships that have formed over the years, giving us all the strength and belief to do the best we can for our children.
