Papillon House School is an Independent Day School for children and young people with profound autism and associated challenging behaviours. The school has a fully equipped sensory room and a soft play room. There is an appropriately equipped outside play area. We provide occupational therapy, speech & language therapy and drama therapy. Our children also have the opportunity for horse riding, swimming and benefit from additional relaxation techniques. Community visits are used to support the curriculum and our children's individual needs. We acknowledge the difficulties many of our children experience with eating and drinking and therefore provide all meals including packed lunches. All diets are catered for in consultation with parents/carers and nutritionists. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils. Other disabilities catered for by the school are Disabilities catered for: profound autism and associated challenging behaviours. Respite services are just for their own pupils.
