All students follow the National Curriculum modified to meet their special educational needs and linked to targets in their bi-annual Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Students in Year 9 upwards follow a range of externally accredited courses leading to GCSE Entry Level Certification and AQA Unit Awards as they progress through Key Stage 4. Our experienced multi-professional staff includes three speech and language therapists, an occupational therapist, music & dance therapists and Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) who all work collaboratively to meet our students special educational needs. Close contact is sought and maintained with students’ families and placing Local Education Authorities (LEAs).
