Parent Infant Clinic
Main information
Type of service: Interventions and therapies
At Infant mental health, we specialize in autism spectrum disorders and the early detection of pre-autism behaviours (as early as 3 months) followed by appropriate interventions especially designed to individual cases. Our comprehensive approach to the treatment of autism spectrum disorders encompasses consultation and assessment, treatment and training. We aim to find and foster good attachments and relationships. We explore the world from the points of view of both the infant and the family. We are then able to identify and address the specific issues for each unique case and address them to deliver a good outcome. Our thinking is guided by "developmental" psychoanalysis, yet we also bear in mind a range of differing theories including neurobiology, psychodynamics, behavioural, cognitive, humanistic, bio-psychological, and socio-cultural therapies. Can provide independent expert reports.
