Phew offers quality, accessible, planned and crisis residential services to all eligible people with a disability and support for their families and carers. The building is a 14 bedroomed, purpose built property offering many of the facilities similar to a good class hotel. It is situated near Motherwell Town Centre with a wide variety of leisure, recreational and educational facilities nearby. The accommodation is in single en-suite bedrooms with a capacity to accommodate very complex needs. It is barrier free and all parts of the the building are capable of bring accessed by wheelchair users. Facilities include a small Gymnasium, a Snoozelen room, a small Hydrotherapy pool and a Resources room addition to the normal Dining Room and Kitchen, there are 2 small kitchens which can be used to supply supply snacks and light meals. There are also 2 Residents sitting rooms. A central feature is the Sensory Garden with Barbeque area, Water feature, Fish Pond, and Garden seating. There is a Bar for occasional use. There may also, on occasion, be an opportunity for carers to stay overnight to assist the resident to settle in. Referrals are via North Lanarkshire Council only.
