I am a former Legal Support Worker with IPSEA, where I advised their Tribunal Support Service and Advice Line Project workers and volunteers. I am an special educational needs (SEN) Adviser and Tribunal Representative in private practice. Over the last 20+ years I have helped over 4000 parents and represented at over 700 Tribunal Appeals. I am happy to attend meetings, including Annual Review Meetings regarding existing Statements, and negotiate with the Local Authority regarding the recently introduced Education, Health & Care Plans. Whilst not a solicitor, I have an in-depth knowledge of the relevant Education Acts including the 1996 & 2014 Acts, the Codes of Practice, SEN & Tribunal Regulations.
