We offer a multidisciplinary assessment. Our team is made up of a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, Clinical Psychologist, Speech and Language therapist, Play Specialist, Special Needs teacher all of whom have experience in working with children who have an autism spectrum condition (ASC). The tools we use include the Modified Checklist for Autism in Toddlers (M-CHAT), the Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R), and the Sensory Perception Scale. Assessments are currently offered in Chippenham and Bristol. In addition, team members are able to offer individually tailored intervention and therapy packages. We have links with 2 parents. As well as a clinic based service through a close collaboration we are able to offer an Equine Assisted Therapy and Learning Service. The service belongs to the Royal College of Psychiatrists. The service provides independent expert reports and visits a client's nursery school or college. The service has received autism spectrum disorder (ASD) training and has had experience of working with people who have ASD.
