The school caters for Assessment for Foundation Stage for pupils with a clear diagnosis of ASD (autistic spectrum disorders). The Springboard Unit is an ASD assessment nursery which gives all pupils access to the Foundation Stage curriculum. It supports the pupils' learning in social skills, communication, behaviour and play via an IEP, assesses what strategies best meet their needs and what style of future placement will best suit them. Volunteers to work with the pupils may be accepted.
