Parental support is a key element of the service, in addition to support for children and pre-school centres. Services provided include assessment, advice, consultation, input to the development of Individual Educational Programmes (IEP), and parent support. Referrals to the service are made via Psychological Service and are received from parents or carers, from health professionals, from nurseries and playgroups or from Social Services.
