We offer short, medium, and long term residential placement options for young people aged 11-18 with complex needs. Our small therapeutic children's homes (2-5 beds) are located in Wrexham where we provide attachment and psychologically informed care with consistent 1:1 support.
We provide specialist care for young people aged 8-18 with complex health needs, ASD, disabilities, and challenging behaviour. We have a fully adapted and equipped home to meet specialist needs. Individually tailored service packages include short-breaks (1 day or more), 38 and 52 week placements.
Our registered specialist school offers education and training pathways for pupils aged 11-16. We deliver a broad and varied curriculum with a range of accredited programs including GCSE level study. We also work closely with a local school that specialises in working with children aged 8-18 with ASD or severe learning difficulties.
Clinical and psychological support is available across all of our service areas and each of our placements has access to a range of psychological assessments (if required), consultancy to individual care teams, and direct therapy (if appropriate following assessment).
Referrals are usually made by local authorities for looked after children however we are able to accept referrals for short breaks from parents and carers. A pre-placement assessment will consider individual placement needs and appropriate matching with other residents
