Autism spectrum conditions (ASCs) diagnosis service for children, adolescents and adults of any age. We offer a multi-disciplinary team assessment by experts in the field. Our consultants include a paediatrician, clinical psychologist, and speech and language therapist, who each assess and contribute to a diagnosis (where appropriate) and a report.

The assessment process includes: preliminary screening with a clinical psychologist; comprehensive observations in school; complete medical and psychosocial communication assessment using 'gold standard' instruments; feedback from each member of the team full report available within 2 weeks of assessment and a follow up session with a clinical psychologist to answer any questions and consider further support. We also offer therapeutic input.

Our clinicians are experienced in adapting interventions to meet the needs of people with a diagnosis of ASCs.

Assessment procedure: Preliminary screening with a clinical psychologist, observations in school, medical history, ADOS. Accredited to carry out assessments using DISCO.

Follow up service: Support sessions for family and siblings to learn about the condition, developing behaviour management at home, groups for parents, buddy schemes for older children, and working with schools and colleges to help support the individual across the different areas of their life. .
