QUAD is a centre for art and film based in Derby City Centre. It has two cinema screens and provides regular screenings for children with autism spectrum disorders. The screenings offer the best possible comfort for the audience including no adverts and trailers with slightly lowered sound levels and low lighting to aid safe movement around the auditorium during the screening. Please see the website for more detailed information. QUAD also runs an after school group called Q Club for young people 5-18. Half of the participants are on the autism spectrum. Sessions are run in 4-6 week blocks. Please contact Charlotte Convey by emailing charlottec@derbyquad.co.uk for spaces and availability. We also have 'Listen Love Learn' Free sensory/messy play sessions for children with learning and physical disabilities and special educational needs, 0-5 years.
