This is a school catering for children and young people with complex autism and resultant special educational needs (SEN) from ages of 2-19 years. It is accredited by The National Autistic Society (NAS). It has two subsequent Ofsted reports of outstanding (2007 and again in 2010). It has a primary and secondary outreach service, speech and language, occupational and music therapies on site. The school has an extensive training programme, from short autism-awareness courses, to a 'Masters' in autism accredited by Roehampton University. We also have a 30 place Queensmill unit at a local primary mainstream school, and one at a local mainstream secondary school. For September 2015, we are also opening 1. autism spectrum disorder (ASD)-specific education provision for 19-25 years on a new site; and 2. a new unit at another local mainstream secondary school..
