RAMH Causeway Housing Support
Main information
Type of service: Outreach, Supported living schemes
RAMH Causeway Housing Support Service provides practical tenancy support to people with a wide range of mental health issues in East Renfrewshire. We aim to enable people to maintain the upkeep of their homes and to enjoy the best possible quality of life in and around their homes. We can support and assist people with a wide variety of tasks including: making sure their home is safe and secure; making appointments or phone calls; communication with services like housing, gas or electricity; money management, planning shopping and preparing food; getting to know and use local resources and meeting more people; and advice. We also have a supported accommodation service where we provide a round-the-clock service. We do not perform nursing duties but can assist and support people to become independent and confident. Above all we aim to improve an individual's self-esteem and self-confidence. The Lifeskills Service can also provide a very practical service for people who have mental health issues to maintain their homes in working order and in good repair.
