Ramsey Grammar School

Main information

Type of service: Day schools, Schools

Approximately 22% of the student population at Ramsey Grammar School (RGS) has learning, social, emotional, behavioural or physical difficulties and are all included on the school's special educational needs (SEN) register; they are educated in full or part in a mainstream setting. At RGS support comes from a range of resources. We have a purpose built Flexible Learning Area in the South building, providing specialist intervention and a cohesive approach to supporting the “whole child”. We work successfully with a wide range of agencies and we strive to build positive, meaningful and productive relationships with parents and carers. Teachers and support staff are committed to the inclusion of all children across the curriculum, and celebrate success at all levels.
