Red House
Main information
Type of service: Residential services
The Red House provides 24 hour support for people with learning disabilities and challenging behaviour. We aim to enable all individuals to make their own choices about the support they receive. We do everything we can to improve the health and wellbeing of the individuals we support and as a team we are focused on building positive outcomes for everyone. Our approach to support: The support at The Red House is delivered by a multi-disciplinary team of staff who aim to enable individuals to live as independently as possible. The staff also work closely with outside agencies and visiting consultants. We encourage and support everyone at The Red House to recognise and identify their goals and ambitions and how they would like to go about meeting them. The Red House promotes Priory Adult Care's communication strategy, "Your Voice", which encourages individuals, based on their preferred method of communication, to voice their views about the support they receive. Monthly meetings are held where individuals are able to represent the views and voices of others living at the service.
