Type of service: Diagnostic services

We are an independent practice with clinical psychologists and a child psychotherapist. We all have experience in The National Health Service (NHS) child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS). We offer a diagnostic assessment service for children with possible autism spectrum conditions (ASCs). In addition we offer an intervention service for children with ASCs and their families. We have a consulting room but we also do a lot of work in family homes and in schools.

Assessment procedure: Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and psychometric assessments. Gillian's Aspergers Scale and Social Communication Questionnaire. We are ADOS and Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R) trained and have long-standing experience of using these tools.
