Type of service: Interventions and therapies

Relate offers relationship counselling for both couples and individuals. Coventry & Warwickshire Relate do have staff that have received training regarding Asperger's syndrome and is able to offer relationship counselling to adults with Asperger's syndrome. We recognise that relationship difficulties affect children and young people too. Our community service, Reach, is designed to support children and young people through the process of: Parental divorce or separation; New step-parents/siblings; Difficulties in relationships generally (at school, with peers, with parents); Bullying' Loss and bereavement; School transition' and, Witnessing domestic violence in the family home. The service is offered to children aged 5-18 years of age. Appointments will usually be made within one of our venues across Coventry and Warwickshire. Our Time for You service works within a number of schools across Coventry and Warwickshire providing counselling and supportive group work programmes. We work with young people aged 5-19 years of age. Parental consent must be given for those in Primary School. Across all of our children and young people's services we use a range of creative interventions when working.
