The name of the unit for children with special needs including those with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is the Enhanced Special provision (ESP). Ridgeway is a mainstream secondary mixed comprehensive school on the outskirts of Plymouth. We offer enhanced provision for 10 students in years 7-11 and support for Post 16 students. We currently have 41 students with ASD on our role who are all educated in mainstream provision. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils once interviewed and Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) checked. Other services can be requested as needed.
