At Robinson House, we provide support for people with learning disabilities, autism and behaviours that challenge. It is our aim to improve the health and wellbeing of the individuals we support, as well as helping people to develop the skills they need for independent living. Our services: Services and facilities available at Robinson House include: Specialist support for ten people with learning disabilities who may also present mild to moderate challenging behaviour; Robinson House is a ten bedded house with communal bathrooms, two communal lounges and large open gardens offering a comfortable homely environment; Innovative person-centred support programmes in a safe and caring environment; Access to education and a wide range of community based activities; Progression through a care pathway that fulfils each individual's maximum potential to live more independently; and Service users can have their views heard via Priory Adult Care's “Your Voice” meetings. Our approach to support: The support at Robinson House is delivered by a multidisciplinary team of staff who aim to enable all people to make their own choices about the support they receive. Staff members work with each individual to create a Person Centred Plan which outlines the level of support required. Our service also supports people who have epilepsy and diabetes. We have contacts with the local general practitioner (GP), who regularly visits Robinson House, as do dieticians, speech and language therapists, physiotherapists and nurses specialising in diabetes and epilepsy.
