Rose Cottage is dedicated to supporting adults with autism and Asperger syndrome. Rose Cottage has 7 single bedrooms 2 on the ground floor and 5 on the first floor. The home has 8 single bedrooms and lounge, dining, kitchen and communal areas. A spacious garden with patio area and picturesque views of the Black Mountains. In house facilities include up-to-date computer systems, snozelen facilities and a sensory garden area. Staff receive in-depth training and on-going support on low arousal techniques, which are at the core of TRACS' care philosophy. Clients are able to access community facilities such as swimming pools, horse riding, trampolining dependent upon individual care plans and choice. All clients are registered with a local general practitioner (GP) and have access to TRACS' Clinical Support Nurse plus consultant input in the areas of psychiatry, psychology, speech therapy, drama therapy on an individual needs basis. A community psychiatric nurse (CPN) visits the home and clients can also access a Diabetic Clinic at the local GP's Surgery. Rose Cottage accepts volunteers to work with service users.
