Rosebank School provides early assessment and intervention for pupils with complex, social and communication difficulties and associated learning difficulties. Rosebank offers specialist provision for pupils with autism spectrum condition (ASC) in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1) and Key Stage 2 (KS2), across the ability range. Pupils are taught in small, highly structured, low stimulus classrooms, using the specialist strategies, Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication handicapped Children (TEACCH), Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and Structure, Positive (approaches and expectations), Empathy, Low arousal, Links (SPELL). Therapy services, such as Speech and Language Therapy, are an integral part of our provision. We employ a full time Family Worker to support links between home and school. A thriving After School Club, Siblings Support Group and 'Stay and Play' group for pre-school children are additional services provided by the school.
