Sandwell Advocacy have been established since 1993 and works throughout the Borough of Sandwell in the West Midlands. They offer free and confidential advocacy support to those in the community who are socially excluded and who find it hard to express their wishes and concerns. This is provided by a small team of paid workers and a team of dedicated volunteers. Although Sandwell Advocacy is a general advocacy organisation, the majority of those they work with identify as having some form of disability, including the label 'learning disability'.
